1) Job Description of Chlorine Technician. Proposal Package (130 Basic,20 Food,30 fixed OT)
The chlorine Technician should make sure continuous chlorine dosing is in auto mode for all chlorination systems.
He should prepare the preventive maintenance plan for all chlorination systems that the manufacturer recommends.
He should make sure all dosing systems are working effectively and allow the suitable concentration per the PAW's standard.
He is responsible for discovering the faulty dosing pumps for all dosing units and informing his Engineer.
All booster pumps for chlorination units are Chlorine Technician responsibility, and he should make sure it works effectively as per the requirements.
He is responsible for preparing the list of all buffers and chemicals required for the online analyzers operation/calibration and provide to his Engineer.
He is responsible for following the calibration process with third-party analyzers of any type as per the manufacturer.
He should operate the online analyzers as per the manufacturer recommendations.
He should ensure the calibration of the portable meters to monitor the online analyzers reading and water quality parameters (pH, turbidity, conductivity, fluoride and chlorine meter, etc.)
Samples must be delivered immediately to the laboratory for analysis or stored in compliance with laboratory instructions until the laboratory can receive them.
He has to know to replace the chlorine gas cylinders.
He has to be aware of HSE rules and committed to them completely.
